Suggestions thread.

This is probably a second attempt to make a thread where we can suggest things to improve site, forum, mentoring, cookie-giving, thread locking systems and etc.

So what i ask u for - Nitroshift and/or other admins - bring back /portal page - it was accessable only via direct link typing as there's no such button anymore in the menu since we got .comxa.com - that page was - for me - very informative - TOP-10 threads i.e. If we delete that then we have something like "List of topics with unread replies to your posts" - not just unread threads since sometime people don't have much time to look through the whole forum for the thread the want to post in - like me - but to answer on their favorites - but "Favorite thread list" is a bad thing since u have to add threads to it.

Next: personal to Cobalt - why are u keeping locking topics like where Pin asked somebody for joint, hm?
Just imho you are too strict - no that's not very bad - but cutting conversations and sending everyone into "instant messengers and PMs" is not good to - again i, for example, can't find anyone in IMs as there's 12 hours difference between me and all of u - PMs are hard to keep the topic +threads are made if u don't know who can help u, u're asking the whole crowd hoping somebody will come. Again imho there's a reason to lock a thread if it went offtopic for 1 day, there are no new posts for 1 week, there's unacceptable content in first post [this one can be deleted].

I'm asking again to fix menu buttons such as "TAdojo" and "Portal" - just make the code there similar to other buttons. And don't say that system doesn't allow you to edit it somehow - if u added these buttons u CAN edit it.

Again...header -_- it's far another story - i still can't believe u can't fix it. Ye-ye in browsers like firefox it looks as it should.

Mentoring program:
1. Rednight is doubled in Free Agent Students list
2. Cobalt is a Free Agent Mentor like for two weeks already...anyway - for a long time - and there are 4 students - why not to pair someone finally?? Same can go to Garbear but he's protected from such arguing since he's a Pivot master.

2. Hmm... maybe I should bring back the old portal. When Soul gets back, we'll make the real portal, but still keep the old one too. I'll fix it up.

3. I know this is for Cobalt to answer, but he's doing his job. There really shouldn't be any "HEY WANNA JOINT" threads. Bring it to IRC or PMs.

4. THE SITE HEADER IS SCREWED. I'd have to work on a new design entirely.

5. I'm waiting for some people to tell me they've paired up. COBALT, take yo pick.

Since one of those are based off me then i'll reply. I wanted to joint but I didnt know who. I cant PM because i had no one in mind. And the IRC always has the same crowed. Yoshi, Me, Nitro, Snipe, Soul, Darkdude, rednight and thesystem.


That entire crowd is above ore below me so I didnt have many options. I dont know how to get more people on IRC because its very useful.

-I wanted to ask who moved my topic, I had it in prattle then it was moved to training. IDK how? (it = my joint topic)


-Isn't it okay to state your open for a joint in the prattle section?

I will find another student soon. Lately I've been swamped with teaching my secret student. So when i reveal him he will be epic, and it will be very dramatic. As for my locking of topics, i think I'm am doing my job correctly and following all the rules.

Okay then - this one we can use for discussing suggestions and then the whole crowd will make one. You can move this to the specified forum branch if you want. I don't care much - but don't delete this.

For such threads like Pin's one: IF it is in Talkin' section - then it CAN be there and should NOT be locked since it's a talking section - it's made for right those situations when u can't find anyone in IRC - as for me it's almost always empty.

To the portal - thanks that it's back. And it should be made as a homepage - and the forum is a forum. Cause as i know when people get on forum first and it's a homepage - they don't know where to start from as there are so many sections and etc - i mean i feel so.

To the menu - after adding a new USELESS button it got totally weird with 2(!) lines - again as for Chrome user.

Everything i can give you is a PROPER html code that should be placed instead of what we have. But i don't think you're interested in it...

Listen, I would love to fix all the website problems, but i'd have to start over.

Why do u have to start it over? This place is alive for more than one month and if something goes wrong now - we have to fix it but not to throw in the window and start over. The only exception is total redesign or something like that.

There may be a way to fix it, but just give it some time.

There was at least one week to fix that. I know that on holidays people may have less time than always. But...nvm.
